Registration:
All those wishing to participate will be required to register their teams with The Philadelphia Pokemon League. You can do that in person at our booth before the official start time of the event or
We allow for players to pre-register their team. This consists of writing out your entire team, their moves, and items to insure no changes happen during the event. The order of which is important for things like Conversion.
You may pre-register your team ahead of time by email to: Contact@phillypokemon.com. The deadline for this is by 5 pm Friday the 23rd. If you do so please put the day of the tournament, such as KEYSTONE SATURDAY, in the subject line along with your full name.
Clause List:
All Clauses are in effect for all tournaments during Keystone Con. As well as any individual rules listed under each tournament.
All battles will be played in Singles format with auto-leveling to level 50.
Endless Battle Clause: There are some combos that can cause endless loops such as Leppa Berry + Recycle +Heal Pulse. ALL FORMS OF ENDLESS LOOPS ARE BANNED.
Species Clause: You may not have two of the same Pokèmon on your team. Pokèmon such as Rotom have several variants although they share the same National Dex number you may use more than one of Pokèmon such as this if they are not the same variant. This variant exception will also apply to Aloha Forms in Sun and Moon.
Item Clause: You may not have two or more Pokèmon with the same item on your team.
Evasion Clause: A player cannot increase their Pokémon's evasion stat with a move that specifically increases evasion. Items or indirect boosts do not break this clause.
One Hit KO Clause: You may not use any move that may result in a one hit KO such as: Fissure, Horn Drill, Sheer Cold, and Guillotine.
Sleep Clause: You may only willingly put two enemy Pokèmon to sleep at any one time.
Ability Clause: You may not have Pokèmon with the following abilities: Moody, Arena Trap, Shadow Tag, or Power Construct.
Fair Fight Clause: You may not use the internet or receive aid from another player during or before any match, however you may use a blank sheet of paper and a writing utensil. Paper may be lined, blank, or Grid with no other information present.
Golden Rule Clause: Don’t be a jerk. If at any point you would like a ref to spectate your match please just raise your hand.
Prize Support:
1st prize: Pair of 3-day badges to Keystone 2020
2nd prize: pair of single day badges to Keystone 2020 (day of their choosing)
3rd prize: one single day badge to Keystone 2020 (day of their choosing)
Saturday Tournament: Singles Double Elimination

Banned Pokemon: Aegislash, Arceus (All Forms), Blaziken, Darkrai, Deoxys, Dialga, Genesect, Mega Gengar, Giratina, Griatina-Origin, Groudon, Ho-Oh, Mega Kangaskhan, Kyogre, Kyurem-White, Landorus, Mega Lucario, Lugia, Lunala, Marshadow, Mega Metagross, Mewtwo, Naganadel, Necrozma (All Forms), Palkia, Pheromosa, Rayquaza, Reshiram, Mega Salamance, Shaymin-Sky, Solgaeo, Xerneas, Yveltal, Zygarde, and Zekrom.
Sunday tournament: Singles Double Elimination
Additional Restrictions:
Banned Pokemon: You may not use any Legendary Pokèmon. A complete list can be found HERE. In addition Ash-Greninja counts as a Legendary Pokèmon.
Banned Items: All Mega Stones. As well as Kommonium Z, Mimikium Z, and Lycanium Z.
